Struan Baptie Property Management was established in 2011 by Struan Baptie when, after several years of managing his own properties and working for J & E Shepherd Chartered Surveyors for 9 years, he decided to offer Landlords the standard of service that he himself would be happy with.

  • Struan Baptie - Director - MARLA

    Struan is committed to providing a high standard of professionalism, reliability and frequent communication to all our landlords and tenants. Struan is contactable 7 days a week to deal rapidly with any problems that arise.

    Struan is fully qualified and has achieved the Level 6 Award in Residential Letting and Property Management Scotland to comply with the Register of Letting Agents.

  • Melissa Coleman - Accounts Manager

    Melissa joined Struan shortly after in October 2011, having worked together previously at J & E Shepherd. Melissa has over 15 years’ experience in the rental market and deals with the day-to-day administrative tasks in the office. Melissa deals with all client accounts and rental payments.

Struan and Melissa continued to work well together and mainly through word of mouth and referrals, Struan Baptie Property Management Ltd went from strength to strength.

  • Louise Todd - Office Manager - MARLA

    In January 2013, Louise joined the team having served 6 years at Shield & Kyd Solicitors in the Estate Agency department. Louise has a vast knowledge of both property sales and lettings. Louise is responsible for organising all of the administrative activities that facilitate the smooth running of an office.

    Louise is fully qualified and has achieved the Level 6 Award in Residential Letting and Property Management Scotland to comply with the Register of Letting Agents.

  • George Lyall - Viewing Agent

    George carries out the majority of our viewings, making him the first point of contact for prospective tenants.

Our key aim is to make the rental and management of your property seamless and hassle free, so we’re happy to meet you at your property or in our office. As a small team we keep each other informed on a regular basis of any problems or queries that arise throughout each day, which we feel is vital to providing that extra bit of excellent service.

Coronavirus Update from Struan Baptie Property Management Ltd

As you will be aware we are in the midst of an outbreak of the coronavirus Covid-19. The Scottish Government has recommended that businesses take steps to allow its staff to work from home to reduce personal contact and to help reduce the spread of the virus.

We do not wish to take any risks with the health and wellbeing of our team and to that end, we are allowing staff to work from home. This will have some implications on our business for all our clients and tenants.

Of course if you know the email address of the person you wish to get in touch with, please email them directly. If you have the direct dial number of the team member you wish to speak to, this will forward to that person’s mobile phone. We urge you to communicate by email in the first instance. It will most likely be answered more quickly.

We aim to remain fully operational throughout this period. Rent processing will continue as normal and we will continue to deal with emergency repairs and maintenance and all aspects of property management. Routine property inspections, viewings and new tenancy agreements during this period will be postponed to a future date.
